acer4432 problems
well i reformatted my computer to get rid of the last problems and now my cdrw doesnt want to burn anything with any program
with nero it stops at about 3% and 10minutes later times out and says a SCSI/ATAPI command timeout, it does it everytime
cdrwin just stops burning at 6% or so everytime and i have to restart to cancel the burns
it basically freezes the program or my cdrw so i have to restart to get it to stop "burning"
never had this problem before, i have uprgraded my firmware to the correct driver and installed via drivers, plz help!

I don't remember what O/S you are running, but when you reinstalled did you "fdisk /mbr"?
"More Than Merely Names"
"NEVER FORGOTTEN"

When formatting, it always good to remove the partitions on the HDD, re-partition and then format before installing your new OS.
Also, do not try and write at maximum speed, try one notch lower.
