    Question TDK 161040 Disc-at-Once Problem

    Any suggestions for a tdk 161040 which quits burning (audio) and says it can't use "disc-at-once" (Nero 5.x). I've tried using easycd but it hangs up after writing a few percent. Couldn't find any help from the tdk site. Aargh!

    What's your IDE configuration?

    Try to put the Burner on the second IDE channel by itself as a master.

    Unistall all software for burning.
    Remove all traces of them from the registry.

    MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR REG FIRST.

    Do you have any programs like Winamp or MusicMatch Juke box or the like installed?
    I would remove them also.
    I have seen problems like this from those programs being installed.

    Just some thoughts to help out.
