    Red face Safemode???

    I try to go into safemode at bootup and it won't let me. I just push F8 and NADA. Is there some secret to getting into safemode upon boot up? Please help....

    easiest way is to tap the F8 key continuously once the BIOS screen is displayed. Tap it maybe once every second or so otherwise it will soon fill the keyboard buffer up. If you don't want to do this, then wait until the BIOS screen changes to the boot screen and immediatly press F8 a few times as the ME boot sequence starts very quickly compared to Win95/98.

    You can also hold down the CTRL key during the boot process or get to a dos prompt and type "win /d:m"
