SYSTEM RESTORE
When I select system restore, it says there are no restore points available, if I try and create a restore point, it won't let me and says to reboot system, when I do and try again I get same message.
any idea's??????
A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.

Try going to the System Properties in the Control Panel and then into Performance and File System and then Troubleshooting and
then try DISABLING the system restore and reboot and then try Enabling it and see what happens?

I assume you're even messing with that because there's a problem with your system...you can't save a restore point for a system that isn't working...

My system is working fine, I just wanted to feel if it was'nt I could recover it, the first 2 posts gave very usfull info, only I still can't get restore point.
So I will use other types of backup.

There is an update to WinME restore function see Q290700.
