    Post Ending task on explorer in Windows ME

    Hi there,

    Is it safe to end task on explorer in Windows ME? I know that in 95/98 it isn't.

    Thanks Lycia,

    I was giving advice to a friend who would end task on explorer regularly in Windows ME. I told him don't do it. I was wondering if doing such a thing might cause harm to some open files since it would lock the system up. I guess this is the reason not to do it, aside from the fact that Windows ME won't run without it.
