    Question netscape/explorer

I have a problem again as usual.Im trying to get this very old machine on the internet for some folks.(compaq prolinea-50Mhz)I installed windows 95 and finally got a modem installed.I was able to connect to the net(isp)but when I open explorer it saaid it couldn't open pages because of something to do with "internal file extensions".So I installed netscape it tells me "cannot make network socket connection". Does anyone know how I can help these folks out. This is their only machine. Tnx
