Locked out every morning
I Have a on going issue with my account get's locked out when I return every morning , I have checked to see if I am loged on to another system and we did find one since then we have went into to active directory and removed the account but the system still shows up on SMS when you do a search pn last system log on by user name. Running XP and active directory and this has gone as for as security and they having no luck in getting thsi fixed I am having to call in to the help desk every morning to have my account unloacked. Any help on this matter would be a great help.

We used to have that problem here. The problem seemed to choose a person or machine (not sure which) and lock them out daily.
This problem seemed to go away half a year ago. Maybe it was an update from MS?
Try putting all the patches on your machine.
Also, try removing your machine from the domain, delete the computer account from the domain, and then add it back.
Then again, it might be a needed patch on the domain controller(s).
I never was told what caused this or what fixed this.

system is off over night?
enable auditing for logon failure that will show you when its trying to login and failing...

You have got to look in the security logs for this one as a starting point I would say. Both your computer and the DC. Both of them should tell you why & when the account was locked out; but that might take a bit of deciphering.
Might not be hack, could well be something screwed on your account or computer.
Also check for any errors in the other logs too.
