wmp does not detect my device
i got this problem with wmp,when igo to burn a cd it says it that it doesn't detect device,to plug device and press f5,but under options,devices,burner is present,don't know what to do,was working fine until last thusday pls help os is xp

We need more details. PC make and model, as well as burner model.
What burning software came with it? Nero, or what?
Have you tried that and does it work?
You could try removing the device and rebooting. What version of XP and WMP do you have?
