NEC 7800A NR 16X NOT!
I got this drive with the Dell PC 8200.
I cant burn anything faster than 8x.
What gives? Is there a firmware upgrade for this
drive?
I have tried EasyCD 5.0 Basic and Nero 5.5.5.1 or whatever the latest version is, I am running XP.
Although I havent replaced the brand of media I am burning on I cant see what the problem is?
Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Note: Roxio posted an XP update for v5.0x on 11/4/2001. Go to www.roxio.com to download it.
