frame relay ?

the description of the net work:

LOCATION 1: a co-located server at isp.
attached to a switch, a cisco pix 5.15 fire wall also attached to the switch (connects to the internet) . and a router attached to the switch. the router (will) spans the framerelay to the other locations router

location 2: 4 workstations attached to a switch, and a router attached to the switch.
the router (will) connect to the frame relay.to allow he two locations to talk to one another

the question is...

at location 2 the router will do the "listing and talking" between networks, can i use illegal ips for the 4 workstations?

I don't know much about frame relays, or switches. But I do alot about NAT, and unless the four workstations you have are connected to the internet, you can use any IP address you want to. If you don't want these workstations to have internet access, but you want them to be able to talk to the workstations at the other locations, give them private IP addresses (i.e. something in the 10.x.x.x or 192.168.x.x range). If they need internet access, you will need to perform NAT by either using either a hub or some other device or computer.

You can use what ever ip's at either end as long as you have the same subnet on the routers at either location.
