Share Sniffer or Similar
I'm looking for a program that will allow me to seek out unauthorized shares on our company network. We've been having a big problem with users creating unauthorized shares, downloading MP3s, etc. and need a prog that will allow us to search LAN from a central location rather than go to each workstation (LAN is 100+ users). Is there any such beast? And if so are there any that are not costly or FREE, as funds are an issue.
Thanks in advance for any help.

<a href="http://systemtools.com" target="_blank">This is what you are looking for, but unfortunately it's not free...</a>
If you can think of an Admin task to do, this baby can do it! It's worth the cost!

Ok, I may be a little off here but could you accomplish this using the net view command?? or no? I'm not sure but its my 2 cents

Yes, you can. Net view will dispaly the list of shares for a \workgoup\computer.

LanGuard is definitely the way to go for taking a quick and somewhat thorough look at your internal network for free.
