Question 2 firewalls between FTP client and server

This is a bit of a weird one. Just doing some testing and this is the setup.

FTP server on an internal network with a linksys router with an appropriate port forwarded to the server. Clients on the internet not behind a linksys box can access it fine. Someone behind a linksys box can get access, but when performing a LIST command it just sits there and times out and asks again and again.

Trying in reverse order with me being the client and the server on the other end in a similar setup is the same result. I have both the client and server log files if necessary.

What to do?? Hopefully it's not a limitation of the linksys equipment
    Veni, vidi, quiesco sum.

Some commands in FTP sessions need port 20 and 21 opened... if I remember well, 20 (ftp-data) must be opened backwards...
If I find it again, I'll show you... but thats something to think twice and it will be your problem, so search for these keywords.
