Post Win XP Pro can not see 98 Machine on Network

    Here is my network setup:

NT 4 File Server with a Shared Drive for all.
    6 Win 98 Workstations
    2 Win XP Pro Stations
    D-Link 10/100 Switch

Just added the 2 Win XP machines. I can see the Server Shared Drive Fine and the other Win XP machine and a couple of the win 98 workstation shared drives, but I can not see or connect to a specific Win 98 Machine. I am trying to connect to the win 98's printer that is shared on the network. Everyone else can see it and print to it.

    Help.....

Is there a protocol standard? Are all the protocols on the wk's the same (e.g. TCP/IP)?
    To each his/her own.

    From the XP machine:
Can you ping the 98 machine in question?
Can you see the machine using net view?
Can it be found with search for computers?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

They all seem to have TCP/IP protocol, I can not ping the 98 machine nor can I find it with search. The 98 machine is on the network and logged in cause I see and use the F:\Shared drive on the server with no problem and other machines print to it.
