[RESOLVED] Can't browse Win2K Server from Win 98
I just setup a Win 2K server and am trying to network with Win98. I can browse the win 98 machine from the server, but not vice versa. On the Win98 workstation, I can see the Win2K Server in Network Neighborhood, but I when I try to browse it, receive password prompt. I have tried my administrator password, the logged on win98 user password, and no password. But none work.

log into the Win98 machine as administrator with same password as server. That should give you access to server. Also double check your user permissions. Make the user a domain administrator. That should get you in as well. G-Luck

Check the permissions of the shares on the server.

Just a thought... Have you created a user account for your user on the 2000 Server?
