DSL Question
Can you use DSL with a proxy server. I know you can, but will DSL using DHCP work. I'm assuming that it will as long as the server isn't rebooted often. They are currently using a Netgear router, providing internet services for their workgroup. I want to create a domain and use proxy. In the end we want an employee to be able to PC Anywhere into his local machine. I know this sounds really complicated. I'm just terrible at wording things.
Thanks

If you already have a Netgear router in place and will be using PC Anywhere why would you use PPP instead of TCP/IP?
PC Anywhere has the TCP/IP support, and your router should provide a firewall.

With a linksys DSL router you can grap a IP address from your ISP with the router itself and then use dhcp on a server or the router itself and forward all the ip information to all the clients.
To each his/her own.
