Angelina Jolie...MMMMM

Gotta love those lips.

Oh, and uh, yeah, the trailer stinks.
I think he's a good man. I like him. I got nothing against him, but I'm definitely gonna make orphans of his children.

I don't even care to see that movie. Now I'll admit that I really do like Angelina Jolie as an actress (and she doesn't look all that bad either ) but I don't care to watch that movie one bit.

If nothing else, it should have really good special effects. That plus "the twins" should make for at least a good matinee.

It doesn't matter that the movie will suck, there are only two reasons that anyone will go to it, and neither of them involve a good movie.

I'll just add it to the long list of tripe Hollywood serves up and then wonders why I stay away from in droves...

You don't like movies based on video games?

I wish they would make PacMan The Movie.

Arnold Schwarzenegger as PacMan
Cameron Diaz as Ms. PacMan
Ben Stiller as Inky
Jim Carrey as Blinky
Scott Thompson as Pinky
And Rodney Dangerfield as Clyde

Angelina Jolie is a hottie, but I'll probably just wait for it to come out on video and DVD. That way I can pause and rewind, and watch it frame by frame.

They will keep on makin' 'em 'till we stop seein' them. All there is to it. If you don't go see bad movies, they will not make bad movies. It's a simple equation. If you want to see something good, find the art house theater and go as often as you can to give $ to independant artists who are creating the decent flicks.

IF:

The flick has a one liner in the trailer, don't go.
If the flick is based on a video game, don't go.
If the trailer starts with "In a world...", don't go.
If there are more 'splosions than dialogue, don't go.
If it is reviewed as "Die Hard on a boat, plane, train or anything else", don't go.
If the music is so loud you need earplugs in the next theater, don't go.
You get the picture.

Do any of these cartoons bring back memories?
Donkey Kong
Super Mario Bros.
Frogger
Pac Man
Double Dragon

I don't thing that Tomb Raider ranks anywhere on my 'movies to watch' list, but Final Fantasy has my interest so far. I just don't think that video games should go into movies (unless we are talking an interective movie) Mario Brothers failed as did Double Dragon. I'm not holding my breath for Laura Croft's salvation.

About that PacMan thing Larommi, I totally LOVE it! Do you remember the PacMan Cartoon from back in the 80's. Ms PacMan would always refer to the Pac as "packie", it was so cute. And when Pac would bust up some ghosts the eyes would go back to the base, and there was this evil dude there (PAC's nemesis) i can't remember his name, but for the film i'm seeing Alan Rickman or Christopher Walken...

We just need a plot now and to get ILM on board for the effects.

Becuase it's based on one of my favorite games, I need to go see it.

Becuase Angelina Jolie is in it, means when I go see it I need to wear baggie pants.

BUT...I do not expect it to be good!!

heh heh heh...Final Fantasy on the other hand...

There are exceptions to every rule and Mortal Kombat was exceptional! (I can't believe that I forgot that one. )

I guess I've come to expect a lot in story line and animation from Squaresoft, so Final Fantasy has my vote of another game gone to movie that will win attention. Tomb Raider will only work for the hormone driven and die hard fans of the game.

(What would a movie look like for Metroid?)
