PS2 Game Recommendations
I just landed a PS2 this weekend, as my kid brother wasn't using his.
After months unused, just a good cleaning brought it back to working order.
I need to know what games you would recommend for this console.
What fits in your PS2 Hall of Fame?

What kind of games do you like?
Sports: Madden football, EA Sports NHL Hockey, All-Star Baseball (I think it's by Acclaim)
Action/movie style game: Metal Gear was pretty good.
Just plain fun: Either of the Grand Theft Auto games. You can pick them both up pretty cheap right now.

If you have kids in the house aged 5-12 then get an eye-toy with software. Kids love it to bits.

Grand Theft Auto and True Crime are always fun games to play.
Nothing relieves stress better than stealing someone's car and then getting away from the cops.

Flabooble!
Grand Theft Auto 3 and Grand Theft Auto Vice city. You can buy both in a combo pack for cheap.
Gran Turismo 3 was awesome. 4 is out now I think and if it's like the rest, it's the best driving game ever.

Can you tell me more about this?
My son and daughter are 11 and 8.
Which, of course, rules out GTA.
Gran Turismo 4 is already out? Man, I'm soooooo out of touch.

You're never to young to learn the art of killing whores.

Is that why legalizing prostitution is such a hot issue?
I never would have guessed it was for hunting...
But I digress, and so do you.
Any non-whore related PS2 games you liked?

8 & 11 may be too old but here's an honest review all the same.
(when the kids have gone to bed and we've had too much to drink me and the wife LOVE the games)

Have to be careful with the eye toy or you'll end up having a bunch of grown men acting like 8 year olds. Happend to us we played for almost 4 hours and we were all stone sober. I swear it's addicting as he!!

Family Safe Games...
I liked Ratchet and Clank and Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando they're just fun basic run around and blow stuff up with really cool weapons. It's safe for the kids and fun for the adults.
The gf was liking Kingdom Hearts it's final fantasy meets disney. And she's all about final fantasy.

So Ratchet and Clank, Jak II and GT3 have been added to the list for the kiddies, as well as Transformers when it's available here.
What about something that really gives a good eye candy experience?
