Any idea's to cure loneliness?
Strange feeling I'm getting, I spoke to Jen earlier today and have felt incredibly lonely since. I'm afraid posting here is only making it worse. You see, I keep seeing her post's and name all over the place - and to compound the problem reading her new custom status just tugs my heart strings.
Don't want to phone her again, she's gone to her friends house for some company, and I don't want to seem like a lost puppy!
Any idea's for taking my mind off her for awhile?

Well doc - If you was a woman waiting for your man, I would say chocolate and/or icecream immediately followed by a guilt preventing aerobics session!

Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

get a really good book or rent a great movie that you can get into for a couple hours, or go to a friends house.. or reformat your computer, that'll keep you busy reinstalling for awhile...

My problem is that I am in Antwerp and Jen is in Liverpool, UK. I'm staying in an hotel so can't rent a video! I've read the only book I brought with me - Stephen King, Desperation - and every where is shut, except the hotel bar.

Well, I usually remember all the crap that I have been put through in dealing with people, so that right there kills the loneliness, then slef gratification helps..

Seriously, this is a HILARIOUS site. I check it about once every month or so and nearly split my sides laughing at it. Part 34 - SuperFatty teaches fire safety is the funniest "literature" I've ever read! If more people hit this site, it would have "All your base" levels of potential.
"No, Superfatty! Is is FIRE! Time to escape!"
"What? The fire chases me! It is imposibel! Fires do not have weels!"

That's what I would do also. Besides that I always work every morning except from Sundays, I have found out that sleep is the best company when I feel lonely, I'm sad or don't know what to do.
Hope you're feeling better now, DF!

this will really cheer you up....knowing there's someone worse off than yourself...
went to the hospital for the check-up (the last was 3wks ago). had the leg x-rayed..
bloody doctor said gotta keep the plaster on another 2 wks, then come back. cannot put any weight on it at all.
the only way to get around is by wheelchair (see piccie in windrivers friends). my house is so small the chair barely fits. i am a field service eng so cannot even go to the "office"... the way our house is, cannot even get out the front door without help...
boy am i depressed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
