    Unhappy scsi cdrom drivers on a boot disk

    can anyone help me. i just built a new system and was running windows 2000, which is a self booting cd. i recently switched to window me but the problem was i couldnt boot with cdrom support off a boot disk. im running athalon 950 on asus a7v motherboard, adaptec 2940u2w scsi card with 40x nec cdrom 8x yamaha burner and 10 gig western digital hd. does anyone know where i could get a boot disk or instructions on how to make a boot disk that will support my cdroms? please help me

    go into the SCSI Controller BIOS (Ctrl+A)

    and change the settings to allow boot from SCSI CD-ROM ...

    In your PC BIOS chage the Order of Boot to be CD-ROM,Floppy,HDD


    but if you need a boot disk with SCSI CD-ROM support you can create a Windows 98 boot disk (control panel - add/remove ..)

    or download this file and create a floppy
