    I'm sorry to criticize, NooNoo! As far as actual poetry goes, I doubt anybody here will come up with something better than what you have offered. You get 5.9 out of 6 instead of the perfect score ONLY because the haiku format is supposed to have seven syllables in the second line instead of five.

    Oh Clam, I wasn't competing and I thought yours was great.

    I guess thats what comes of being a straight A student in english!

    The trouble with 7 syllables in the middle is you have to either use words that people have to look up in the dicitionary, or the line is too long.

    So I chose to bend the format slightly.

    And I bet you someone comes up with something better than me within 24 hours!
