    Talking Competitive Couples

Okay Taz has been getting into this game Max Payne and he has been playing it awhile.
Well I thought the other day that I would give it a try. And I am kinda liking it and I was playing it the other day , Well he says after hes been watching me a while .. "Dang baby your almost caught up to where I am in the game"
So the next day which is today while im at work he takes a little time to get even more ahead of me. And I was like Ohh I see your were playing just to get ahead of me huh? lol
I was just joking, but I thought it was funny . So are there any games out there that you and your other compete at or maybe just a friend . I thought it was funny that he was saying that I was almost caught up to him.
""And Cough cough some one was looking at the cheat books.. Ohh my did I say that"
    LMAO
Now hes saying . " Baby you just dont know how hard those parts are" LOL
    Well lets hear your stories.

Well its been a while since I've had a serious girlfriend but I remember (dating myself a little here) when Tetris first came out on Nintendo. My ex-girl and I played for hours and hours and hours trying to beat each other's score.

Of course I would love to find a female geek to spend some quality time "fraggin" people on the 'net.

    We'll leave that one alone....

    j/k

Anyway, Tetris was always my favorite to challenge people on, and another good one was Crash Bandacoot, I used to play that against my neice trying to get farther than the other.

The only time my wife was ever interested in taking time out to kick my behind in games it was in Tetris and Hardwood Solitaire...

She never accepted my challenges at FPS gaming though, so we'll never know how THAT would have ended

I think a little competition between spouses is healthy, and if it can be handled through gaming (instead of competing with careers, salaries, the kids, etc.) then all the better!

I'm Jealous I can't get my wife to enjoy a good game of anything.
I hope that someday we will be able to put away our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people.

The husband and I would rather beat the crap out of each other in Battle Arena anyday than actually argue IRL.

    My ideal lady ...
    1. beat the bejesus out of me in CS consistantly
    2. Play starcraft as efficiently as I can
    3. Blow up corpses in Diablo 2 while I cast bears on stuff ( )
    4. Enjoy's flying out of an on ramp at 95 mph

after that, its just minor details...

look at it this way, if you'd get in a fight, to the CS map you would go or the SC battle field

My wife always stops playing games when I'm playing them...she hates competition. I had her playing Worms2 for a while, but after I started all the roping manuvers...she quit playing

I feel your pain, brother. My wife thinks all computer games are too violent. I try to explain to her that in my games I only kill the really bad people (or critters, depending on the game). She just doesn't see how satisfaction can be achieved from a really nice headshot (or shot into the "nether regions") in Soldier of Fortune. Go figure...
