Well, this server is the first time i have played in many months using all weapons instead of instagib. I will install my Q3 back on my machine this weekend. Then we can talk. I will be like a newbie on Q3. The last time I played Q3 was like a year ago on a slow computer with dialup.
Kymera, I don't know of any special technique with the translocator since I play instagib most of the time. Being able to assign a hotkey for that weapon is the first thing. I don't about any special techniques other than lots of practice.
I was blastin away last night and had a good match with Taz and DeaJae. Later someone with a clan ID in their name came in and beat me by 2 frags.
I live in my own little world, but it's ok... they know me here

I may have a friend who's willing to open up a Q3 server for us.
He's just trying to figure out if that will take up his cablemodem download ratio to an unpleasant extent.
If anyone has an idea what kind of traffic a Q3 server can create, please let me know...

Well, Shows how much attention I've been paying this place. I could kick myself. Just started playing UT again after a long break. Could be fun to frag some frinds. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
I heard mention of a "genral times avalabel" listing on the web site. That would be good to see when I can drop in and play. Will see you all on the server.
P.S. I'll put in for the Q3A, and or HL/Counterstrike servers also, to show some support for them. Tazdrummer, if you feel like playing one afternoon, email me @ [email protected], and we'll see if we can find a server somewhere. We have 2 UT Demo servers up and running almost 24/7 <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">. Ip's are:
64.244.8.69
64.244.10.40 (this one seems to stay up the longest)
Both are CTF with some cool mods
Feel free to check them out

and watch out for lil_bunny_foo_foo he is a bada$$ player

Does anyone play TFC or DOD? i would like to start a clan but all i see is a bunch of little teeny boppers playing. anyone play TFC or DOD in late teens and up?

Hey i play alot of TFC lately, if you ever see Captain Howdy or [MnM]Skittles (my own clan hehe) thats more than likely me <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Notice:
UT server is down tonight becuase of a really bad lightning storm here tonight (6/20/01). Apparently the power went out at work. The server UT sits on isn't considered a high enough priority to be hooked into the UPS and quite frankly I don't feel like driving there tonight.
It'll be back up first thing in the morning <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Oh, that's ok that is on low priority. No problem, Milenko. I saw it was done. I am about 40% complete with the Windrivers arena. I would like to next weekend add the avatars in the arena, but I guess that won't happen. Is there a ghostsite address of a past forum with the avatars?
Does anyone here play on the RR-SA instagib CTF sites?
I live in my own little world, but it's ok... they know me here
