My father's side is pre-dominantly German, and my mother's side is mostly Dutch, but I've also got a bit of Souix in my blood.

Elbatcho, that is very cool, if you have documentation of it, I would appreciate if you were willing to share! I'm part of the SCA and any source material from that period is of interest to us.
My own lineage has been traced back to the 900s in the Scandinavian countries. I am literally descended from the original Harald Bluetooth! *moment of Geek Pride* Actually, that's a small part of me, thirty two generations back. I'm 75% British but was born here in Canada so consider myself Canadian.

I will have to write home and see if I can get it sent here but i don't think that should be a problem. If not I can always go to see my Uncle in england and get all the info. He does all kinds of research on that stuff. I am a Bowditch and we originaly came to the States just after the Salam witch trials and set up a fleet of whaling and trade ships. I visited the grave yard in salam mass and saw tomb stones with long lost ancestors. It was really freaky.

Part Irish, German, Czech, possibly Scottish, and English. If there's anything else in this mix, then I don't know about it. Basically a mutt!

I know I'm part Irish, since my ancestors came from the Maritimes region of Canada (a lot of them still honor the Celtic traditions)
The other part of me is just confused My father's family originates from the general region where I now live (Eastern Quebec close to US border) and the last time I attended a family reunion (in Connecticut), over 2500 people attended. A LOT of us in the northeastern States, as far as I'm told, even though our last name is evidently French.
But through it all (wait for it fellow Canucks)...
