If I was working for the company, that would seriously piss me off.
BTW, doesn't that violate "Free Speech" or something along that lines?

My CA was told that she could not hang a flag in our hallway for the same reason. Apparently this is why none of the dorms have flags openly displayed. We have put one up anyway-ha! This is America. If someone is offended by the flag of a country they FREELY CHOOSE TO LIVE IN then maybe they ought to move.

Wow, that's pretty harsh. I can't believe of there being any places in our nation where we couldn't fly our national flag. It's a sad, sad day.

As a show of support, the Jordan F1 team (a British racing team with Japanese engines) displayed the American flag on their race cars for the Italian Grand Prix. Ferrari, (all Italian mfr, w/ German and brazilian drivers) removed ALL SPONSOR DECALS and painted the nose of their cars black out of repect.
And in this country people are denied the right to display our flag.

I don't know if we are getting the whole story there. I find it incredibly hard to beleive that they would do that without good reason. The only explanation I can think of would be if that small number of people had tried to start something with Arab-American workers in that comapny or were trying to intimidate them. Obviously that is huge specualtion, but there must be more to the story than just that.

The stupid thing that I dont get is when did the American Flag become so politically incorrect? I can understand about the political and religious things, but the American Flag? All that says that you are an American, and you are proudly showing the flag that many fought to establish, and so many more died to keep it alive. People of all color, political background, and religion have fought and died for that very flag they are trying to put down. So why is that a bad thing? THAT PI$$ES ME OFF!

Americans not allowed to fly the American flag at an American company on American soil... Why? Because it might offend our foreign friends here? Did you all see the post of our embassies etc? Yeah, it's American soil but all the foreigners can see the flags that are there, including the ones they put there out of respect! Anger doesn't even begin to define what I feel!!
