Resolved [RESOLVED] Must See Movie of the Year

My pick would have to be Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, coming out on August 24, 2001. Here's a link to check it out. http://newsaskew.com/va5/ I'm a huge fan of Kevin Smith's movies and this looks like his best yet. It's backed with stars and features characters from all his previous movies. What is your pick for a must see movie this year?

Thumbs up

"Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back" is gonna rule.

Another movie that looks really good is "The Fast and the Furious". Vin Diesel kicks ***.

BTW, did I mention that Monty Python and the Holy Grail is coming back to the theaters and is now 89 minutes long? It'll be interesting to see what added footage is included.

It's been a pretty poor year for films so far. The new Planet of the Apes might be OK, or Lord of the Rings, but probably not "must sees". This...err..."indie" film that some of my friends shot a month back, basically a gay version of Romeo and Juliet (noise as Shakespeare turns in his grave), is a definite mustn't-see, however .

Lord of the Rings
Jay and Silent Bob
Harry Potter

HellGopher, Shakey wouldn't be turning over in his grave; he was probably bisexual. Very strong evidence in the Sonnets.

No official "must see" movies, apart from Final Fantasy , but there are some I will not pass up mostly out of curiosity.

Lord of the Rings, Planet of the Apes, The Fast and the Furious, Swordfish, etc.

Come to think of it, I'm not being very discriminating.

Uh, you know the pair in the movie are fake right? If you don't beleive me, go check out the HBO movie GIA, or a movie called Foxfire. Trust me, Angelina has a very nice body, but those are not hers.

They are hers, but they're enhanced.

Here is what she said,

``I'll make it real simple,'' she said. ``I'm a 36-C. In the game, she's a double-D. In the movie, she's a D. We split the difference ... (the movie Croft) is much more athletic, and she has smaller breasts, but she's still Lara Croft, so there.''

The only MUST SEE movie in my opinion is Fellowship of the Ring.

Movies I am going to see without a doubt;
JPIII
Jay and Silent Bob
Fast and the Furious
Planet of the Apes
I think he's a good man. I like him. I got nothing against him, but I'm definitely gonna make orphans of his children.

[sigh] Yet another reason for me to like Mogul.

Yes, I'll see that one and Lord of the Rings. Those will be the must-sees.

Gonna see Tomb Raider this weekend in hopes that it's good beyond just Angelina Jolie's looks. Gonna see The Fast and The Furious and don't care if it's good beyond Vin Diesel's looks.

Definitely want to see The Fast and The Furious. Shrek is on my list to when I get around. Going to wait for Pearl Harbour to go on video or dvd before I see it.
