    Post Seti@Home update.

Just a note for those that care. Seti@Home has just released version 3.07 and it does seem to run smoother and faster on my Win XP machines. I was running 3.03.

EC I go in for surgery late Wednesday morning. Several screws and at least 2 plates will be inserted on the inside of my right ankle to stabilize the "new injury". 1 screw and 1 plate will be inserted on the outside of my right ankle to rerepair (is that a word?) the original surgery I had in '79. Then my tibia will be set with a small rod during this procedure too. Darn and my 43 year/100,000 mile warranty just expired. All in all I was told at the pre-op meeting today that it will be 10-12 weeks before I'm back to abbey normal. Oh well time to beat on the ceiling and get a late night snack (er...maybe not, I didn't like the answer ).

Hey them's good numbers. I've now got 3 PC's dedicated to the cause. I've brought my data crunching time down from 24 hrs per unit to 18 hrs per unit in 2 weeks. And I love the Beer@Home graph that's great.

Just curious. I haven't tried the command line version, yet...

Has anyone figured out a solution to the bandwidth problem seti has been having? The only time I can download WUs is early in the morning and on weekends.

I use seti driver to queue wus, but it gets confused sometimes when it can't connect for several hours straight.

I'd be able to return a lot more if they'd fix this.
