Why ya getting rid of that 3Dfx V3 3500 Card?
It's supported by Windows 2000, Windows XP and Linux out of the box(no additional drivers are needed unless you run 3D games) If ya look on several posts in the Video section on this board alot of video problems, started after they got rid of there V3 card and got Nvidia or Ati cards.
Mine has handled every game I've thrown at it very well, and my coworker's his runs Unreal Turnament at 80fps after DX8 was installed.
It is still a good card to spite 3Dfx closing up shop, and would save you some money by keeping it.
At one point 3dfx was a good brand. I went from a TNT 2 Ultra to the V3 3500. I would prefer the TNT 2 over the V3 any'ol day. I wanna get the ATI Redeon or if the prices go down, I want the Geforce3.

If you sell to a coworker, don't sell. If you sell to a family member, don't sell. If you sell to someone who has your home phone number, about $2000.00. If you sell to someone that promised to never call about it again except to tell you what a wonderfull box it is, about $500/600 sounds right. I "upgraded" my PB POS, and guess what, it still is a POS. I spent enough to build a new one from scratch, just kind of snuck up on me!!

Flabooble!
Why sell it when you can use it at home. Set yourself up a little network and have friends come over and play them head to head in a network game. Save it for experimentation with new OS's that just might suck and let it give you headaches on a machine you don't care about. I have 4 PC's on my network now and I can testify that there is something to be said for having multiple PC's at ones disposal.

true dat.
I have 4 systems at home right now and a laptop and im building another system for a friend. And it's all networked. It's great having multiple systems. That way if you say want to burn a cd and play counterstrike at the same time it wont be a problem. Or if one goes down for whatever reason you have another one running.
There are no stupid questions! Just stupid (l)users!

That site was cool. It made even POS computers worth at least $500 . Hopefully someone will read this and remember the address to that site was and post a link.
