I don't see your new avatar.
Is that what you mean?
Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so. -Douglas Adams

I don't seen it either. I'm now well over 200 posts and I can't seem to get mine going either. I'm attempting to host mine on a personal site and it won't stick. Someone told me there would be a button that would appear that says use custom avatar after 200 posts. That ain't there either. I've also pm'ed a couple of mods with no answer. I'm about to give up. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

Flabooble!
Go to your profile.
Click on select a different avatar image.
Where it says “use custom URL” put the URL of your picture that you want. Make sure you use your own domain as many (most) of the free sites do not allow linking from other sites outside of the freesite.
Now click on “select this avatar”.
That’s it. If it doesn’t work then go to the comments and suggestions forum and ask why the option does not work for you. It may be that the feature is locked and you will need to ask Scott to give you permission to post your own avatar.

As far as I know, Yahoo and Geocities don't let you link to stuff from a different domain.
I have a clan site distributed between several free servers right now, and I have to have the pics uploaded on each one. *sigh*
Please insert volume 'BRAIN' and press any key to continue.

If your unable to find free hosting, Check with your ISP and see if he gives you webspace. If not and your not advers to running servers, host the file of your personal computer, like i do for many of my pics.
