 AOL IS WORKING ON AN OPERATING SYSTEM
Just an FYI
AOL IS working on there own os, My sectatary was on the phone with them for some reason and got friendly with a tech, he explained to her that they were working on an OS based upon Linux.(makes ya wonder why Microsoft and Aol havent been getting along latley huh)
oh yeah..hold on.. AOL 7 is in beta.
AMD,NETSCAPE,NORTONS.. Why are they almost alwalys found together? Possibly the worse software and hardware made to date, (not including AOL)

LOL...sounds like that's gonna be a fun OS to work with. I imagine your work day will go something like this:
1. Power on computer
2. "Now connecting to OS" screen appears
3. Wait
4. Wait some more
5. "Connection to OS failed, retrying"...
6. Finally get into OS
7. Spend 15 minutes closing pop-up ads
8. Try to figure out which of the cartoony-lookin' icons opens the spreadsheet program
9. BSOD (complete with "You've got BSOD!" message...hehe)
10. Reboot
11. Repeat steps 2 through 7
12. Repeat step 9
13. Repeat steps 11 and 12 until you finally go postal, drive to Virginia, and join other enraged AOL OS users in gunning down all AOL employees
It'll be the end of the world as we know it.

I was going to post a clever quip of some sort aluding to the fact that AOL making an OS could only make M$ seem like shining angels and what not but I will go with the following post instead.

And maybe M$ will start *giving* windows away so they can make more money on their software.
(Wait! that's Linux's arena. They can't compete at that level..............can they?)
