3 desktops set up to run W2K for learning. All in the same room so I can wheel from one to the next as needed. Large drives are great for sharing MP3's (Morpheus)

I have two desktops and a laptop traveling companion. One desktop is a labratory type computer I can exparament with and the other is my main HP. The only surviving original parts in it are the processor, mobo, and case. DARREN, notice I didn't call the desktops a modem, cpu, or anything else stupid!!

Funny that, that's what everyone calls my AMD. They even assigned the last bit of the IP address as .6.66
As for PC's, I dunno, way to many in various states. Lemme think...
1. Duron
2. Dual PPro 200
3. Old 486 laptop (time for a new one)
4. Power Mac
5. P200 running Linux (often called Tux's Chainsaw Massacre)
Well, they're the ones that are always here, others come and go.

It's supposed to do that... and that... hmmmmm... probably not.

I have 2 at home now with a third on the way. One is a K6-2 450 and the other is a 1.2G t-bird. Im working on building a new AthlonXP to replace the 450.
My question here is WHY do you guys have so many machines up and running, outside of LAN parties ofcourse? I juat couldnt justify the bills of 12 or so machines.
