I work on my Saturn and the wifes Duster whenever there is a problem. jsut get one of those hayes manuals and you're set. it tells you everyting you need to know. I replaced my radiator, alternator, engine mount, brakes several times, rotors, thermostat, plug, wires. What a POS i have. I hate that car.

You almost have to if you own a motorcycle.
I used to be an auto body tech before I swithed to computers.

Well, there was this one time with a cow....
oops. I guess that's a whole different story.
I used to do most all my own work but since I bought my new car (2000 Grand Am SE) I decided it's best to bring it in. Plus, even though you save money buying your own oil ect... you still have to spend the time changing it. I came to the decision that my time is better off spent fixing a computer. I'll just let the mechanic get paid for his job and I'll get paid for mine.

More of a shady tree mechanic ... working on my cavalier in my spare time tweaking it up ... 1 or 2 hp here, 4 or 5 hp there.
Next project is to put a lower restrict muffler on. Not too low though, I don't want to sound too obnoxious!
