What is the oldest computer thing you still have?
Oldest thing I have is a 85 mb hard drive,
Although I used to work with 64.5 mb hard drives that weighed in at about 20 lbs, without the drive motor.
God is all knowing, I am just human.

I'm still using my 3.5" drive from the first computer I bought myself. It's from a Gateway 386sx-16, if that gives you any idea of how old the drive is. Still works great though.
Oh yeah, and the keyboard. It's the best. It has macro and remap functions built right into the keyboard. No repetative keyboard strokes for me, I do it once, and then the keyboard macro takes care of the rest.

The oldest thing I have that's currently fucntioning is my Acer 36X CD-ROM. It was top of the line when I put together my first real system and I've carried it over ever since. Still runs just fine.

I have a couple of 386's. You know how most people put a couple of bricks in the back of their pick-ups when it's icy? I used to use a couple of 386's. Still got them layin around.

I saved a one of those dual 5 1/4 floppies from a computer I replaced. Makes you think, "Whoa it must have sucked back then". Also have an 8-bit ISA controller card.

I have a external 14.4 modem and two ISA bus mouse cards. For those who don't know, you put the card in an ISA slot and connected a sereial mouse to it...

My first computer...386sx/16 with 2 megs 18 pin DIP RAM, 1 3.5" floppy drive, one 5.25" floppy drive, and an 81 meg connor hard drive.
The motherboard is so old it has room for 4 megs of 18 pin DIP RAM and 4 megs of 30 pin SIP(NOT Simms) RAM.
Still use it on occasion to write letters and or dial in to my unix shells through the 2400 internal modem I added free.
