Post A.I. VS. The Fast and the Furious

My wife and I went to see A.I. on Saturday. Two old ladies were ahead of us in line.

They asked the ticket guy, "What's this movie A1 about?". (Steak sauce?)
The guy said he hadn't seen it, but it starred the kid from 'The Sixth Sense."

One old lady said, "Well, it's probably too scary for us then. We'd like a ticket to 'The Fast and the Furious.'

My wife and I had a good chuckle over that. It still makes me smile. I wish I could have seen their reaction when they find out they passed a Speilberg film for The Fast and the Furious.

Careful Savage, you risk the wrath of all of the motorheads up here. 5'll getcha 10 that this post turns into a flame war between "american car" people and the "ricers" like any other car post has.

Personally I'll be seeing AI as soon as I can. The trailer looks phenominal.

I thought A.I. was missing somethin in it... It seemed to drag on for along time without the story really going anywhere.

( oh also WTF was with the liens ay?!?. ) < pig latin for those who have not seen the movie.

it was a stanley kubrick movie with a steven speilberg ending.

I agree I think it sucked had a hard time not leaving.. waht a let down.. liens.. if your talking about the end they aren't liens but they are the future of the mecca, advanced in themselves, at one point in the flick somebody says "In the future there will be only mecca and no humans left"

Sorry if I ruined it for anybody... probably saved ya from seeing a pretty poor filck, but likewise theres allot more to it so I really didn't ruin anything
