 What now?
OK, so Napster is dead-dead-deadski. Anyone trying an alternative?
I have been messing with LimeWire. It is a Gnutella-based program, and so far it sux performance wise, but it IS cool. And no spyware (like BearShare).

Be warned that 9 out of 10 of the Napster clones have spyware installed into them. Some (like Imesh) won't even work if you find and uninstall it.
Get AdAware from somewhere like ZDNet if you are going to install any of these things. You will be amazed what it can find and delete on your computer that you didn't know was there.

I have used alot of the clones of napster and I have to say that even though imesh has some adware installed on it it does teh best job of tehm all

I use Gnotella and have had no problems what so ever. On the other hand as soon as I installed IMesh, my system started crashing and rebooting. 10 Blue Screens in 10 minutes. So I would advise against using IMesh. Excellent luck with bearshare, just remember to use adaware after the install. Damn spyware.
