Cool idea. BLOOD AND SOULS for LYCIA! Terry Gillian or Tim Burton is dark and otherworldly enough to pull off the movie as long as Tim doesn’t sell out the anti-hero Batman style. Unfortunately Hollywood would bugger it. Jeremy Irons (great actor) would be screaming through the whole thing and Keanu (sp?) Reeves or Tom Cruse would be cast as the lead with a generic boy band making a cameo while Jar Jar-Mal hocks super-duper "collectables" at the local McChain. Ahh Sigh, if only we lived in a world where Jerry Springer didn't have an audience. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
No need to be concerned. The voices in my head assure me I am completely sane.

Definitely agree with some of the above...
Discworld, MechWarrior, Asimov...
Also, Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time.
I heard something from a very untrustworthy source about it being done, but nothing since then. Hmmm... wonder if they'd need ILM to do Callandor...

Definately the Elvenbane, the tagteam affair by Andre Norton and Mercedes Lackey
I wouldn't mind seeing half life in theaters, but I also think that another final fantasy movie is in order, but one actually based on the full storyline of a game, not the tripe they fed us with 'the spirits whithin'
Wolfenstein would be pretty cool, but number one on my list would definately have to be dragonlance
Dragons of autum twilight, of winter night, of summer flame
Time of the twins, test of the twins, war of the twins
all *very* exciting stories that would translate well onto the big screen, especially with teh technology found in LoTR
I just can't think of who could play raistlin though

I, too, agree that another Transformers movie would make a great flick.
However, you'd have to bring back Starscream... again... Gotta have that underlying plot...

I would like to see Steven King's The Talisment made into a movie. With todays movie magic I think it would be excellent if they stuck close to the book.
