[RESOLVED] Can't read "oversize" CD-R...
My CD-Rom drive can't read oversize CD-Rs (700-730MB/80min). I have a Liteon LTN 204.
Is this a hardware problem or can anybody tell me a trick?
Thanks,
Philip

There is no problem, your drive just isn't made to read "oversized" cdr's. It's like putting a LS-120 super disk in a regular 3.5 1.44 mb floppy drive, it's just not going to work.
The only way to fix this problem is to buy a newer cd-rom drive that supports the "oversized" disc.

you can normally download a firmware update from their website to make it read 80 min discs
