Driverguy not the first???
Ever notice Driverguy's member number? It's 775! For a guy that created the site, you'd think he'd of been the first to register himself...

Can someone find the thread that explains this. It's in comments and suggestions I think. If I find it later in the day I will post it for everyone.
To sum it up it's when Scott re-did the site and he forgot to register before 774 jumped in

I heard that when Scott made the site there WERE no member numbers, so when there were member numbers, it assigned them in alphabetical order, and WinDrivers (his username) is definitely at the end of the list..
That's why..*cough* the other guy, had 192.

Member numbers were not active until a recent version of the UBB. It assigned the member numbers to the users.

Numbers were used in the v5.x ubbs, but upon upgrading to v6 UBB's the members are allocated numbers alphabetically (at time of upgrade).
As for *cough*the other guy, you can still say his name as it is Darren Wilson. He & Scott still get on, from what I can make out. Former #192 hasn't got beef with Scott & never did have, he had 'beef' with the Knockers, who chose to knock him without finding out about him first & one of those people who has replied here can thank himself as being part of the blame for former #192 & prob the one who has offered the most help over the years he was here departing.
Please do not take DW's name in vain as you all know he is sorely missed and you must admit that once he left, the site went very very slow.
I found one of DW's old posts (although their are older ones I know) yet he is listed as Member #0!!!!!! HERE

Well, that's about as good an explanation as I could have hoped for. Just how long has the UBB been going for? I'll assume that the 5.x version also didn't keep a registration date too.

V5 did keep registration dates. V6 was released V6.00 UBB was released 15 March 2001, so the users who registered prior to that kept their original registration dates.
UBB version history can be found HERE

Outside of Scott and Darren Wilson, who else was here when the UBB converted to version 6?
P.S. WarDog - I did the Pink Floyd/Wizard of Oz thing last night. Very cool. Don't bother replying here, I created a topic in the lounge after I posted this <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
