    Post Newbie XP question

    I have a small network running XP prof I want to be able as administrator to load up certain programs then define which ones can be used by limited users i have the programs installed under the administrator log on what i dont want to happen is get the users to install them again so i get lots of copies of the same program using up space
    help appreciated

    sorry i meant to say the programs are installed already on all local machines and users all have a local logon

    Use "gpedit.msc" from the run menu to set all the permissions on a local computer.
