Red face Iomega Message

I updated to Windows XP Professional. After booting into XP, I get two message boxes on my desktop. Both messages have the title Iomega. One message states "The specified service does not exist as an installed service." The other message box says "The system cannot find the file specified". I have an Iomega Zip 100 USB connected and that works fine. Any idea what might be wrong so I can correct and get rid of the two messages?

Thanks for your help in advance

HI,
well it sounds to me like maybe a bad install of the drivers for your usb zip. you said the zip works fine, i would try going to http://www.iomega.com/datahandler/servlet/dataprocess/driverlist?database=steerdown

and update the drivers.
I think the problem is either an ID10T or PEBCAK error

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately when the newer drivers are installed, my PC will only run in the Safe Mode for some reason. When the newer drivers are removed, all works well again.

do you still get those error messages. if so, does it say what file? also, was this a clean install or did you upgrade XP pro. if you upgraded, what OS did you have?

In the Safe Mode no message. XP was installed over the old operating system, which was Windows 98 SE.
