Are there any free forum service provider out there?

http://www.ezboard.com/create.html - but don't expect the flexibility of InfoPop boards like WinDrivers. If you want InfoPop, then you'll have to pay one way or the other to get a place to put it.

If you want a very good message board for a very low price (free ) then check out www.ikonboard.com. If you need hosting I can only think of f2s (www.f2s.com) at the moment...

I think Proboards is a pretty cool free board provider. It's free, they host them, and there are few ads.

    Cool

Try Discuss, takes a while to set up, but it is very cool. Check out my site:

It has a link under credits. This forum is totally free and there are no banners like those other crappy forums!

If you can afford to wait a little while... then PhpBB 2.0 is probably going to be worth it.

I'm going to be transferring across from UB2k which mysteriously up and left about 8 months ago... with a number of clients payments

you can also try Homepage Tools

I've found it to be pretty flexable...not quite as good as UBB, but hey...it's free...
