HP SCSI scanner problem? Please help!
I have a HP 6100c scanner which was working but now I can't get it to work on another conmputer. In fact I've tried 4 different machines! W95,w98,Wme. The scsi card seems to detect properly but the scanner detects intermittently. When it is detected and I try to use it the twain software will start, I click Preview and I get a split second of sound from the scanner as if it starts to move and then it stops, after a time period I get an error saying and error has occurred.
I can't find anything related on hps site. I can't even get help there... this model not listed for email support, 900 number is blocked (I think) and the $25/incident support tells me to go to the web site and then hangs up once I input the model.
This is driving me nuts! This worked perfectly before.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I take you've tried the link below...
http://www.hp.com/cposupport/swindex...1cpc_swen.html
You might also try the diff links on the left of the page for specs, etc.
Also, make sure that you have the whole SCSI chain terminated properly. If you had it all working once, and then moved it, that might be your problem.
Just a couple of ideas...
Good Luck!
