WinXP And Mass Storage Device
Hiya,
I have a Fuji 2400Zoom digital camera that connects via USB to the PC, which is a 1.4ghz machine (KT7A-RAID) running WinXP.
Everything used to work fine on WinME, i had the camera set up as a Mass Storage device and everything was hunky dorey. Now, however, Things are different.
Fuji have supplied me with a driver that i need to install to get WinXP to recongnise the camera. Fine, so far. I Install the driver, it tells me it is installed, i then connect the camera and it alerts me there is new hardware connected, calling it a "USB Device". At this point i would have thought it would have loaded the pre-installed driver, but it just searches the drives and then comes back saying that it can not install the device. This worries me, shouldnt it recognise it as a Finepix2400Zoom Camera?
What do i do? Is it me being silly, Fuji being silly, or WinXP???
Please help!
Thanks in advance people.

It's probably WinXP and its silly incompatibilities. I have to dual boot to Win98 in order to download images from my digital camera at home. That's because it just doesn't work in WinXP.
