    Question I need a driver to "print" as a bitmap file

    Hello,
    I need a printer driver for windows 9x/NT that let me print as an image file (BMP, JPG, etc.)

    I know that some Adobe programs give a driver like the one I'm searching, but if possible, I need a free downloadable driver.

    My impression is that there will soon be 5 different [drivers] for what you need.

    Some printers have within them [print to file] as an option.

    Questions:
    1] are you looking for the capibility within Adobe's reader to produce a PDF file??
    2] what program is going to do the writing to jpg or bmp? maybe they can just save it in their native format rather than posing as a printable file.

    btw: a printable file normally will contain certain codes that the printer easily understands, but humans [read regular people] have a hard time with.
