[RESOLVED] Xerox Docuprint P8 98, 2k, and Linux
Howdy all...I have a Xerox DocuPrint P8 that I have connected to an old laptop computer. I want to use the laptop as a dedicated printer server for my other OS's...2k and Linux. I have installed the Xerox Drivers serveral times and everything works fine locally, but when I attempt to install it as a network printer, windows 2000 complains that my 98 driver isn't installed right. Now the win 98 driver works, but windows doesn't seem to recognize the device on startup!!!! Has anyone fixed this! All I want is for win 2k to pick up the printer and not complain!!! Thanks!!
