The code for Super Contra was up down left right A B if I remember correctly

Tecmo Super Bowl for the nes is the greatest game ever made. period, hands down, no contest.

followed by Baseball Stars, Snake Rattle N' Roll, Contra and Dragon Warrior. man i love my nes. oh, and Adventure Island was good too.

Thumbs up

I'd have to say that my all-time favorites are (in no particular order):

- Legend of Zelda series (Not Adventures of Link, though)
- Final Fantasy series (Can anyone still remember the victory song or the airship song from FF1? )
- Contra series
- Chrono Trigger
- Tales of Phantasia (English translated ROM, of course)
- All Metroids
- Mario Cart
- Duck Hunt
- Most of the varied Mario Bros. titles

I probably have more, but I just can't think of them at the moment.

Oh my god, I have forsaken the video game industry by not mentioning Chrono Trigger!

/me smacks Radical Dreamer.

How could you (not) do it?!?!

Anyway, here are some more favorites that I rediscovered:

1943
Gradius
Kirby's Adventure
Breath of Fire 1 and 2
Illusion of Gaia
Lufia 1 and 2 (even though 2 is rather buggy)
Secret of Mana 1 and 2 (Seiken Densetsu 3)
Secret of Evermore
Terranigma
Super Mario RPG

*sigh* I wish I had time to play all of them and beat them again.
