Question All those game CD's only one CD drive......

I have loads & loads of games, don't we all?

The ones that piss me off are those that require the original CD in the drive, now I know I can crack these to get rid of that.... but I'd rather not!

I was using a product from symantec called VCD (Virtual CD), this let you read the original CD, copy it and mount the image as a virtual CD so your computer 'imagines' the real copy is still there....

But alas copy protection techniques have advanced lots and my s/w no longer does the job , any suggestions for a similar product ?

I miss being able to play at work!!!!!

Asside from ramming the CD stacker with all my games CD's I'm stuck....

What are you doing playing games at work, anyways? BUSTED!

    Arrow

    Allright! so 'busted'!

But I understand these freaky license agreement things to allow as many installs as you like .... I thought 'uses' was the issue, hence the cd check? I can lose all my game CD's at home, never mind at work too...

I don't want to crack them (I know that bit already ) - I was tryin' to do it legally!

Sooooo if I blow outa my behind, then pray forgive..

Daemon tools will work. You will have to get another program to rip the cd to a .bin image first, which is fairly easy.
