Unhappy HELP!! Asus K7V bios update

I recently updated my bios for my Asus K7V mobo (from v1005a to v1007) and now my computer will not boot up. All I get is the monitor saying to check signal and nothing else. The LED light shows that the processor is working but nothing happens. Do I need to replace the bios chip and if so where do I go to purchase one? By the way, I updated because I installed Window 2000 Pro on my computer and thought it would help.
Any info would be MUCH appeciated!
    Thanx!!!!

To prove something, one must first try to disprove it.

This is a real long shot, but I've recently had two bad ATI Video cards give me the same or similar symptoms.
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience

    Looks like I'm not alone.
