Need HDD info.
Need the physical characteristics of Seagate ST 35IA/X.
Does someone know where I can find them?
The HDD is not mine, so I don't know it's FCC number.
Thanks in advance...

Hi. If I am right in my recollection about the model number, this was the coolest of the 40 meg hard drives - quite a versatile beast. I think I still have a few of them in a box somewhere.
More importantly, I have a printout of a tech-support bulletin which has all the (complicated) jumper settings as well as possible geometries for the drive. I don't have a scanner or a fax machine, so I can't get it to you electronically. If you're into snail-mail, I could send you a copy.
You could also try Seagate themselves. I have always been impressed with their tech support. They may not support such an old drive, though.
Bye.
