Dynamic Host -> Static Host
Hi guys,
I find that my cable connection often changes my IP address and was wondering if there were still any free services that can run in the background or system tray that will link the dynamic IP to a static one (i.e. psu.dynamic-ip.com). It becomes a pain when I use my ftp server to transfer files from home to work and I find out that my IP has changed.
Back in the days of the 56k modem there was a service that worked fine, but since then they have closed down. Let me know if there are still any free ones out there. Thanks!

It's not 100% free, but www.dhs.org is still up and they have some software there that will auto-update your DNS info on their servers.
They only ask for a one-time $5 donation.
