Talking Motherboard Revision (PCB ?) and BIOS Revision ?

Hi there, deep magic fans !
Can any one tell me what's the difference betwenn these terms and how they corellate each one another .The straight reason for asking that is as follows :

    1. MB - DFI AK-75 EC Rev A
    2. BIOS Update bin file signed as Rev D&E
    3. Uniflash v1.28 sying BOOTBLOCK MISMATCH !!...

The QUESTION ... Can I safely use the ADVANCED Uniflash option 'Write bin file to FlashROM and bootblock' ?

As far as I'm aware, it's not really possible as the BIOS your wanting to update is for a later revision board,

As far as I can see, this is the latest BIOS update for your board revision.

Sorry, as I said above, this is only as far I'm aware, Ruslan may have a different answer.

    Good Luck.

If You have any chance of getting spare BIOS chip - do it.
Flash spare BIOS chip first. (I'm doing BIOS updates ONLY this way).

When you get a boot block mismatch I would reconsider the upgrade.

You might destroy your board. It might be a custom system or has a special BIOS.

like Ruslan said, if you have the ability to get a replacement chip go ahead with the upgrade but if it's impossible I would not go ahead with it.
